World Crazy Golf Championship 2024 is a wrap

The past week is a blur, but a really really fun blur. Amanda & Bryan along with United States USPMGA player Frank Bisesi traveled to Hastings, England and played in the huge international tournament that hosted players from 8 countries. These include Australia, England, Hungary, Ireland, Romania, Scotland, United States, and Wales. The tournament took place over three days with over 290 competitors. This included the Womens tournament on Friday at 11am, the Teams tournament Friday at 6pm, and the two day 6-round individual Championship lasted over Saturday and Sunday. Congrats to the now 4 time winner Marc Chapman for the blazing tournament! The highlight of the tournament was the 2nd place playoff between former World Champion Adam Kelly and now winner Steve Skinner. The two went head to head in sudden death on holes 1, 3, and 5 (The windmill!!!) with Steve becoming the victor. It was so exciting! Bryan finished 53rd (215 total / 35.8 avg) and Amanda finished 58th (216 total / 36 avg) in the overall tournament. The two also played in the teams event along with their new friend Nick Harman under the moniker ‘Stars & Gripes’ and finished 4th in the initial event. Nick plays for the British Minigolf Organization for the Hastings club. We are looking forward to next year for the team, womens, and individual events!
